The San Antonio Ethics Review Board voted 3-0 to fine District 2 Councilman Jalen McKee-Rodriguez $1,000 after finding he violated the city's ethics code by sharing a constituent's private email address in a Facebook post.

The penalty stems from a post McKee-Rodriguez made in May.

The board found two ethics-code violations connected to the post and assessed the maximum fine of $500 for each violation.
