Drenching thunderstorms caused flash flooding across northern Houston County and southern Cherokee County Saturday, closing roads and stalling vehicles in Crockett and Grapeland.

The National Weather Service (NWS) reported several roads in Crockett are under water, including South Grace Street, East Houston Avenue and East Goliad Avenue.
