Settlement reached in lawsuit filed by family of student against Winnsboro ISD

A bullying lawsuit filed by a family against Winnsboro ISD has been settled for $25,000, to be awarded to the student victim when he turns 18.

WINNSBORO, Texas (KLTV) - The lawsuit filed by a bullied student's family against Winnsboro ISD has been settled, according to court documents.

The federal civil suit was settled for $25,000, awarded to the student in the case who was the target of abuse at school.

The student will receive the money and any accrued interest when he turns 18 years old.
