Lockney veteran turned vacant lot into memorial park to honor those who served
Vietnam veteran Ed Marks transformed a vacant lot in Lockney into Hunter-Peralez Memorial Park to honor military service members, maintained by the local American Legion Post.

LOCKNEY, Texas (KCBD) - New flags fly at Hunter-Peralez Memorial Park in Lockney over what was once a vacant lot.
Ed Marks, a Vietnam veteran, said the idea for the park took shape after the September 11, 2001, attacks.
The park is maintained by the local American Legion Post.
