FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - Dexter McCoy has declared victory in the race for Fort Bend County judge, defeating Daniel Wong.

McCoy declared victory in a speech Tuesday night.

The election follows a turbulent period in Fort Bend County government involving County Judge KP George, who was suspended from office earlier this year amid ongoing legal proceedings.
