New Braunfels Utilities issued a boil water notice on Thursday, Oct. 15, for customers in the Copper Ridge subdivision following a water main break.

In accordance with state requirements, the notice will remain in effect while NBU repairs the cause and conducts additional testing to confirm the water is safe.

According to a statement from NBU, crews are working to repair the break and restore normal water pressure.
