More than 15,000 popular children's squeeze toys have been recalled over potentially serious injury hazards involving the water beads inside them, federal regulators said.

Dig deeper: The recalls cover Squeezy Dumplings from GIHNJSI and Rainbow Mystery Squishy Bun Toys from OKK Trading.

Both products contain water beads that can expand inside a child's body if swallowed, creating a potentially deadly hazard, according to notices from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
