The Uvalde High School tennis team began its District 27-4A team tennis season with a victory.

On Aug. 5, Coach Cheyenne Mueller's Coyotes and Lobos posted a 14-4 victory over the Somerset Bulldogs in dual-team competition at the Terri Rambie Tennis Complex.
