MATADOR, Texas (KCBD) - A couple from the west coast of Canada took ownership of the 8-room Hotel Matador - without ever seeing the property in person first.

Barbara and Christian Heim said the move to Matador was something they had long envisioned as a couple.

"This is something that we've always wanted to do as a couple. We always wanted to own an older heritage home and run a small bed and breakfast. And this is so much bigger than we thought we would end up with," Barbara said.
