A leading voice for Texas electric companies joins the statewide coalition advancing the electricity transmission investment that Texas needs to ensure reliability and keep the economy growing.

Texans for Responsible Infrastructure Investment (TRII) today announced that the Association of Electric Companies of Texas (AECT) has joined the statewide, non-partisan coalition advocating for the electric grid investments Texas needs to remain reliable, affordable, and economically competitive.

AECT, founded in 1978, is the trade organization through which the state's electric companies engage with policymakers and the public in support of effective public policy.
