PANOLA COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A man wanted on a felony indictment was arrested at Gary Elementary School in Panola County after a confrontation on a nearby county road led to a soft lockdown.

According to the Panola County Sheriff's Office, a call came in around 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning from a person riding a horse along County Road 176. The rider reported that a vehicle swerved as if attempting to strike her.

The sheriff's office said the caller and the driver engaged in a verbal altercation during the call.
