An army of young people invaded Seguin recently, but instead of looting or plundering, they fixed and repaired locals' homes for free.
A group of teens and young adults visited the city on a mission trip with U.M. ARMY, a national non-profit organization that coordinates home repair mission trips for young people across the country, said Scott Atnip, U.M. ARMY executive director.
Taken from eight area churches, the missionaries spent a week in Seguin assisting several families who could use a helping hand, he said.
