FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A pilot has been taken to the hospital after landing on top of a house in the Fulshear area on Monday morning, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Fulshear fire officials shared an image of the yellow aircraft on the home along Kitty Hawk Street, saying several agencies are responding to the scene.

DPS reported that the plane was attempting to land at a nearby airstrip.
