HILL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - A large grass fire near Itasca, Texas burned about 17 acres Tuesday afternoon in Hill County, prompting a multi-agency response, according to the Hill County Emergency Management District.

Crews contained a 17-acre grass fire near Itasca on HCR 4434, according to the Hill County Emergency Management District.(Hill County Emergency Management District)Officials said crews were dispatched at approximately 1:05 p.m. to the 300 block of HCR 4434 in Itasca.

Responding agencies included the Itasca Fire Department, Covington Fire Rescue, Hillsboro Fire/Rescue, Grandview Fire, and Hill EMS.
