Dirt has begun to move on a project nearly two decades in the making, signaling the beginning of an exciting era in Seguin's future, the city's director of economic development said.

NewQuest Properties of Houston recently began the process of installing infrastructure on what city leaders have billed as the largest mixed-use development in Seguin's history, according to a statement the company released Monday.
