JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) - Family members have identified the man who was killed when he was hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle Aug. 28.

Family members say Felix Nava, 48, was a father of two and a grandfather of two."I just want him to know that our brother was very dear to us," said Nava's sister, Lucy Ann Nava.

"We love him and this incident took him away from us. We'll never have him back. I want him to know he was a child of God, he wasn't just an object. He had a brother and sisters that love him."According to DPS, on Aug. 28 around 8:49 p.m. a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Farm to Market Road 16, in between Toll 49 and County Road 436. According to DPS, the driver of the pickup struck a bicyclist and did not stop or attempt to render aid.
