HILL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - State Highway 171 is closed in both directions south of Bynum near HCR 3155 after a major crash Saturday afternoon.

Hill County Emergency Management says the highway is shut down in all directions as crews work the scene.

Bynum Fire Department, CareFlite ground EMS, the Hill County Sheriff's Office and Texas DPS troopers all responded.
