LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A federal prosecutor filed a status update Tuesday saying there are no current plea negotiations with defendants Joshua Allen and Michael Cox in a criminal case pending in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.

In the filing, the government said Brooklynn Chandler Willy has already pleaded guilty in the case through a negotiated information, but prosecutors are not negotiating plea deals with Allen or Cox at this time.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, both Allen and Cox, through their attorneys, have indicated they intend to exercise their right to trial.
