The Pleasanton Eagles picked up a hard-fought 17-10 victory over the Uvalde Coyotes on Friday, Oct. 9, improving to 2-0 in district play.

Pleasanton struck first in the opening quarter when quarterback Nate Luna connected with Julian Gonzales on a 6-yard touchdown pass.

Trey Caraway added the extra point to give the Eagles an early 7-0 lead.
