Starr County confirms its first case of New World screwworm parasitic fly in a baby calf, prompting officials to work with state partners on containment efforts.

STARR COUNTY, Tex.

(KGNS) - On Sunday, July 19, Starr County officials confirmed the county's first case of New World screwworm, according to emergency management.

The larvae were found in a baby calf, officials said.
