WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The McLennan County District Attorney's Office has moved to revoke the probation of Akylon Kyle Benson, a self-proclaimed "media CEO & Owner," alleging he repeatedly violated the terms of his deferred probation by using a fictitious Facebook persona known as Ashley Pea to post about local politicians, launch a nonprofit, sell puppies, and solicit money on a Facebook "news" page.

State District Judge Thomas C. West signed a warrant for Benson's arrest on Aug. 28, 2026, setting his bond at $250,000. District Attorney Josh Tetens filed a motion on Aug. 20, 2026, to adjudicate the guilt of Benson, who was placed on three years of deferred probation in February 2026 after pleading guilty to exploitation of an elderly person, a third-degree felony.
