ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - An Ector County man is facing a murder charge after deputies found a woman dead from a gunshot wound at a home south of Odessa.

According to the Ector County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded around 10 p.m. on June 12 to a home in the area of South Rawhide Road following a report of a woman who had been shot.

When deputies arrived, they found the victim dead at the scene.
