The postseason honors keep pouring in for Boerne High graduate Jackson Grimes.

Not only was Grimes named the 26-5A Pitcher of the Year, but the UTSA signee has also been selected as a 5A All-State Elite player by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association.

According to the THSBCA website, "All-State Elite teams are composed of all the players who will be playing in the All-Star Game. Any player selected for the All-Star Gane is automatically an All-State player." The 5A-6A All-Star Game is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, at Dell Diamond in Round Rock at 11 a.m. The 1A-4A All-Star Game is set for Saturday, June 13 at noon.
