Hill Country Day School to offer nature-based, accessible education in New Braunfels
Hill Country Day School, a nature-based educational facility for infants through pre-K 4 students, is under construction on 5.5 acres in New Braunfels and expected to open in late September or early October.

When Hill Country Day School opens later this year, students will spend the majority of their school day outside immersed in nature.
Situated on 5. 5 acres, Founder Haleigh Almquist said construction of the school is expected to be complete in late September or early October.
The school building has eight classrooms to serve infants through pre-K 4, and the property will include walking trails, a splash pad, two playgrounds, an outdoor classroom, garden beds and a large outdoor porch.
