TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A proposal to make daylight saving time permanent could leave East Texans starting their winter days in darkness for longer.
Daylight saving time is the annual time change when clocks "spring forward" by one hour on the second Sunday in March.
The goal is to shift more daylight into the evening hours.
