BOLIVAR PENINSULA, Texas - As Tropical Storm Edouardo makes landfall to the east, life on the Bolivar Peninsula looks anything but alarming.

KPRC 2's Bill Barajas has been on the ground since 11 a.m. - and so far, conditions have been mild.

A slight to moderate drizzle fell throughout the day, but Gulf waters remained calm as of 3 p.m. For many here, it felt less like a storm threat and more like a welcome break from the summer heat.
