Uvalde's aspiring teachers can pursue a bachelor's degree in education while still in high school as soon as this fall through a newly-approved partnership with Sul Ross State University.

Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District's board of trustees unanimously passed an agreement with the university at their June 8 meeting, after much back and forth.
