HOUSTON - A ground stop has been issued for George Bush Intercontinental Airport due to severe weather on Thursday afternoon.

A ground stop has been issued for George Bush Intercontinental Airport due to severe weather on Thursday afternoon.

Departing flights to Bush Airport are grounded.

The FAA says the ground stop is scheduled through 2:15 p.m. There is a medium probability of extension.
