Three brothers who exploited their wealth, proximity to celebrities and access to luxury real estate to help them drug and rape dozens of women are likely to face lengthy prison terms Tuesday when they are sentenced for sex trafficking.

Statements from a dozen victimized women were underway at the New York sentencing of twins Oren and Alon Alexander, 39, and Tal Alexander, 40, who were convicted in March.

"I carry a quiet funeral in me for the person I might have become had this not happened to me," a woman who identified herself by a pseudonym said as she described being raped by Tal Alexander in August 2014. "Every second that Tal raped me in that shower felt like an eternity of terror," she said.
