The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall involving more than 70,000 children's teething toys due to the risk of serious injury or death from choking.
The recall follows actions earlier this year involving similar products sold by other companies.
Big picture view: According to the notice issued Thursday, the GOPO TOYS Pull String Teething Toys violate the mandatory standard for toys because the silicone strings are smaller and longer than permitted.
