MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - Midland County Road and Bridge crews are working with the City of Midland Fire Department to strengthen fire response in rural areas.

The departments met this morning to test the connections between the county's water tanker trucks and the fire department's tanks, according to Midland County officials.

Through its partnership with Midland County, the fire department responds to fires outside the city limits, including areas where reliable access to water may be limited.
