Hundreds of residents near the Cedar Creek Reservoir in East Texas say they have seen a major drop in the lake level, and some say they can barely take their boats out.

With more than 2,500 people signed onto the Save Cedar Creek Lake petition, a woman from Trinidad says neighbors are rallying and demanding action.

Residents say they are worried about a proposed data center across the street that they believe could further strain the water supply and lower lake levels."Right down here is our cove of Cedar Creek Reservoir," said Stacy Farmer.
