The Boerne High volleyball team looked sharp in Tuesday's season opener at home against Stevens and swept the Lady Falcons at Greyhound Gym, 25-14, 25-10, 25-14.

BHS starts the year at 1-0 and is playing in the Northeast/Northside tournament this weekend in San Antonio.

Ava Seamans led the team with nine kills; Bella Pettet had six kills, while Layla Shanley and Riley Caldwell both finished with four kills apiece.
