The San Antonio Police Department has closed an internal affairs investigation into how details of Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones' home security measures were leaked to the media, with no officers disciplined, a department spokeswoman confirmed this week.

The investigation was announced last fall by then SAPD-Chief William McManus, after KSAT Investigates revealed that officers were assigned to protect the mayor at her home overnight.

Jones told Axios San Antonio earlier this week she was no longer receiving the after-hours security detail.
