HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Harris County will have 193 fewer Election Day polling locations in the 2026 midterms than in the 2022 midterms, according to a new ABC News analysis of Election Day polling sites.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Harris County will have 193 fewer Election Day polling locations in the 2026 midterms than in the 2022 midterms, according to a new ABC News analysis of Election Day polling sites.

The analysis found there were 782 locations across 133 zip codes during the 2022 midterms.

Political expert and lecturer Nancy Sims said the decline has a reason.
