Uvalde County Commissioners unanimously approved 15 days of holiday leave for county employees Oct. 26.

The calendar includes the same holidays approved for 2026, with the addition of Friday, Dec. 31, 2027. Commissioner Mariano Pargas Jr. suggested adding New Year's Eve before commissioners voted on the holiday schedule.
