TxDOT holds meeting about South Loop 289 & Slide bridge project

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - TxDOT held a public meeting Thursday evening to discuss a plan to replace bridges along the South Loop.

The project will replace the two bridges of South Loop 289 over Slide Road and turn them into one bridge structure.

The bridges were built in the 1970s and have reached their lifespan, according to TxDOT.
