Floodwaters brought the Guadalupe River out of its banks Thursday, reminiscent of the July 4, 2025, torrent that swept through the area.
A National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration graph shows the river peaking at 37. 08 feet - more than a half-foot above the 36. 5 feet realized last summer.
Thunderstorms brought continued heavy rains Thursday morning before clearing out of the area.
