A Fort Worth man is facing a second-degree felony charge after an afternoon road-rage dispute in northwest Parker County escalated into a shooting and high-stakes vehicle chase Tuesday, authorities said.

Road rage shooting What we know: Thomas Earl Jones Jr., 30, was arrested Sept. 1 and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following the 2:24 p.m. incident near Poolville.

He is currently being held at the Parker County Jail on a $500,000 surety bond.
