Schreiner University hosted its annual Da de los Muertos celebration Sunday evening, Nov. 1, bringing students and community members together to honor loved ones who have died while celebrating Mexican traditions and culture.

Organized by the student-led Organization of Latin Engagement, the celebration featured an ofrenda, or altar, displaying photographs of loved ones who have died, along with marigold flowers, known in Mexico as the flower of the dead and traditionally used during Da de los Muertos celebrations.
