HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A 20-year-old woman has been charged with intoxicated manslaughter after a crash on the Southwest Freeway on Sunday morning left another woman dead, police say.
ORIGINAL REPORT: 20-year-old driver showed signs of intoxication after deadly crash on Southwest Freeway, HPD says According to the Houston Police Department, the deadly crash happened in the 6000 block of Southwest Freeway at about 1:45 a.m. Investigators said a blue Acura RSX pulled over onto the left shoulder of the freeway after it lost its front bumper when it was traveling northbound.
The driver exited the Acura to pick up the bumper from the road, officials said, while a passenger remained inside the car.
