TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Hiway 80 Rescue Mission held its fifth annual golf tournament fundraiser to support homeless men, women and children across East Texas.

Brian Livingston, the executive director at Hiway 80, said the organization is funded 100% through donations, so events like this help recoup operating costs and fund expansions of their services throughout the community."I always love taking the opportunity to say thank you to East Texas," Livingston said.

"We live in a very, very supportive community that always comes through whenever we have needs, and we could not do what we do without the support of the community. So thank you, Longview. Thank you, Tyler. Thank you, all of East Texas that supports us. We really appreciate it, and it does not go unnoticed."The fundraising tournament was held at Hollytree County Club.
