SNYDER, Texas (KCBD) - The Scurry County Golf Course is drawing new generations of players to its 9-hole layout off Old Lubbock Highway, with families and public golfers making up a growing share of the rounds played each month.

"And that's our motto. It is start them young. Golf is for the family. Start them young," Course Manager Bill Robertson said.

The course traces its origins back to 100 years to when residents of Snyder established it.
