SNYDER, Texas (KCBD) - The City of Snyder will host a Mexican Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The free event will feature live music, cultural performances, family activities, food vendors and entertainment for all ages.

According to 2020 U.S. Census data, 49. 2% of Snyder's population identifies as Hispanic or Latino.

The event is part of the City's effort to strengthen its connection with Hispanic residents, help break down barriers and encourage greater civic engagement and participation in local government.
