Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District will meet at 6 p.m. Oct. 19 to discuss accepting donations from T-Mobile and the Terri Rambie Foundation, which will both go towards the athletic department.

The T-Mobile donation of $5,000 will be used to support Uvalde High School's football team.

The company's Friday Night 5G Lights contest recognizes rural schools, and districts with the most votes and social media participation could win a $1 million home field renovation.
