MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Midland ISD marked a major construction milestone Wednesday morning as crews placed the final structural beam on top of the new Midland Lee High School.
The "topping out" ceremony marked the completion of the building's structural framework and recognized construction crews, project partners, district leadership and the community."Midland Lee High School will become a place where memories are made, friendships are formed, challenges are overcome, and dreams begin taking shape"Midland Lee High School Principal, Chris BryantThe new LHS campus is designed as a comprehensive high school serving grades 9-12 with a core capacity of 4,200 students.
Students touring the building during the event talked about the size of the campus and features such as natural light and expanded classroom space, including science areas.
