LAREDO, Tex.
(KGNS) - Marco Raya, a relief pitcher for the Minnesota Twins and a former United South Panther, returned to Laredo during the MLB All-Star break and spoke about his recent call-up to the majors.
Raya was drafted into the Twins' farm system five years ago and worked his way through the minor league ranks before receiving the call to the majors a little over two weeks ago."Baseball is a game of failures, you're going to have struggles and just try to keep the faith that anything is possible and I had plan A and plan A only, I wasn't going to stop until I got there," Raya said.
