NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches County Judge Chris Bentley said the county has been conducting an ongoing investigation since a cyber security attack struck in May, and has taken new steps to prevent a future breach.

Bentley said the county moved quickly after the attack was discovered."We immediately went into a crisis action mode and brought the right types of people together not only within the county but across the state," Bentley said.

Bentley said the breach affected a select few county employees and originated on the county's old website.
