Pleasanton Independent School District announced Tuesday morning, June 16, that district alumnus Jon Eric Pacheco has been named the new head baseball coach at Pleasanton High School.

The announcement, made via the district's Facebook page, marks a homecoming for Pacheco, a 2008 graduate of Pleasanton High School.

Pacheco has dedicated six years to coaching and education, spending the last three years within Pleasanton ISD.
