ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - An Odessa man is facing a capital murder charge following the death of a 1-year-old girl on July 26.

According to Odessa American, deputies were called to Medical Center Hospital on July 24 after the child arrived with a skull fracture to the back of her head.

Suspect's account to deputiesBraidyn Montoya told deputies he was playing video games when the girl fell from a waist-high bed at the West Miles Street home of his father in West Odessa, the affidavit said.
